Who we are

The Gum Drop Funshop Ellijay is a place where curiosity, play, discovery, and delight are the goals and the destination.

Continuing and building on the vision of our dear friends who passed their dream of a joy-filled space for children on to our family, The Gum Drop Funshop is filled with light, toys, candy, and activities curated to elicit gasps of wonder and excitement.

So now, our family inherits an opportunity to shine God’s love and light to the community, and to each person who walks through our doors.

Come and visit. We might show you the coolest new toy, or engage you in a quick game, or introduce you to George - our pet remote-controlled spider (he doesn’t bite…).

Having started the local youth mountain bike team in 2017 (GO TEAM CARTECAY!), we can also give great suggestions on fun trails and outside activities (like Mountain Biking with our friends at the Cartecay Bike Shop in Ellijay!).

Our restaurant recommendations aren’t too bad either!
